ArtSpot! Arts & Culture Happy Hour

ArtSpot takes happy hour to various arts venues in New Haven inviting professionals to enjoy wine, music and prizes. This week ArtSpot takes place at Creative Arts Workshop (80 Audubon Street). On view in the 2-story Hilles Gallery will be CAW’s annual Celebration of American Crafts. Wind down after work and stock up on local handmade items. Drink & Draw at Reynolds Fine Art

Drink & Draw at the lovely Reynolds Fine Art (96 Orange Street) in Ninth Square invites artists to enjoy a glass of wine while creating artwork. Art supplies are provided by Hull’s Art Supply & Framing. As the folks at Reynolds say, “All you have to bring is your creativity.” Drink & Draw was first introduced in the summer of 2013 and occurs every 2nd Thursday of the month. Live Music at The Owl Shop
Date: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays
New Haven’s favorite smoke spot The Owl Shop (268 College Street) is not just serving up cigars. You can enjoy live music every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. On Mondays enjoy the Latin sounds of The Pasofino Social Club. Tuesdays are reserved for the rock/blues fusion of The Red Planet and the Hump Day sounds are jazzy featuring The Hakins Jazz Collective. Music is always FREE!
Faculty Concert Series at Neighborhood Music School
Time: 12pm / 7pm
Neighborhood Music School’s faculty concert series returns for another season. Hear everything from flute and guitar to Bach and Piazzola. If you get a chance to escape the office while the sun is out you can catch a lunchtime performance in the Audubon Arts District (100 Audubon Street).
