Last week I visited The Haven Collective. The space is described this way:
The Haven Collective hosts creative events, is home to a modern craft studio, expertly curated vintage shop Vintanthromodern Vintage, and a rotating pop up space that features local handmade goods
Creator Melissa Gonzales grew up in Chicago, but has called New Haven home for the past 14 years. She sees The Haven Collective as a place to meet and linger. A refreshment station offers tea and coffee to visitors, and couches and chairs encourage lounging as you shop the rotating selection of vintage clothes as well as locally designed clothes and goods.
One section is a pop-up shop which rotates local artists and their goods.
In another section, New Haven has inspired a small and growing collection of custom gifts, including the popular pizza tote with the geographic coordinates of New Haven, and another pizza-centric design. Watch Melissa show it off here:
The Haven Collective also offers DIY crafting classes. Check in here to see the latest with the Haven Collective and stop by next time to check out what’s new in their shop.
